    Jennifer Anderson
Co-President - anderjen@umich.edu

Prior to coming to Michigan, Jennifer worked in New York City on trading floors at both Morgan Stanley and Banc of America Securities. She is a certified Financial Risk Manager with the Global Association of Risk Professionals and holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University. At Ross, Jennifer has shifted her focus to entrepreneurship, strategy and emerging market development opportunities. Jennifer takes advantage of every opportunity that promotes entrepreneurship at Ross and as a result she has become a big proponent of EVC and all the support the club offers. During her first year in the MBA program, she received a Dare to Dream grant and advanced through several rounds of the Michigan Business Challenge. Jennifer enjoys discussing entrepreneurship, private equity and venture capital with anyone and everyone and looks forward to making EVC an even stronger club during her tenure.

 
     
    Heath Silverman
Co-President - hsilver@umich.edu

Heath has always been an entrepreneur at heart. Whether buying and reselling baseball cards as a kid or co-founding an Internet startup upon graduating from UC Berkeley in 1999, he is continually looking for the next opportunity. With nearly a decade of full and part-time experience in the tech industry, he is focusing his MBA studies on Strategy, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. From day one, Heath has taken advantage of the many entrepreneurial opportunities that Ross has to offer. A ZLI scholar, he was granted a Dare to Dream grant within a month of starting school and is a member of the Frankel Commercialization Fund. Heath believes anyone can be an entrepreneur and hopes that the Entrepreneur and Venture Club will help to break down the barriers facing many aspiring entrepreneurs.

 
     
   

Eugene Lee
Co-Vice President, Venture Capital and Private Equity - ejylee@umich.edu

Before coming to the Ross School of Business, Eugene spent two years at Yahoo! Inc. as a Business Operations Manager for the Yahoo! Local property. Most recently, Eugene was an Associate at ThinkEquity Partners, a boutique investment bank, where he provided corporate finance and M&A services to the Technology sector. Prior to ThinkEquity, Eugene was a Technology M&A Analyst at Deutsche Bank Securities, where he began his career. Eugene holds a B.S. degree in Psychology and a minor in Financial Economics from Vanderbilt University. At Ross, Eugene is concentrating in Entrepreneurship and Strategy and has a strong interest in returning to the high-tech/internet industry.

 
     
   

Mike Lung
Co-Vice President, Venture Capital and Private Equity - mikelung@umich.edu

After graduating with an Electrical Engineer Computer Science degree from The University of California at Berkeley, Mike joined two technology startups, Niku Corporation and Rasvia Systems, as a software engineer. Niku issued a public offering in 2000 and Rasvia was acquired by Quanta Computer in 2004. Prior to school, Mike worked in a product marketing role for Quanta. At the Ross School, Mike is a member of the Wolverine Venture Fund and interned at Plymouth Ventures over the summer. His professional interests are in the areas of finance and entrepreneurship.

 
     
     
   

Ari Sznajder
Co-Vice President, Entrepreneurship - asznajder@umich.edu

Ari graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in media studies and film. Shortly after, Ari got a job teaching English in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) city of Shenzhen in China. While traveling in Asia, he arrived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with a camcorder just in time to record the Anti-Thai riots and returned to China to finish teaching the second semester just as the SARS outbreak began. Influenced by the all the entrepreneurial energy in the Pearl River Delta, he began collecting footage, making documentaries and started up a production company. Since then, he has consulted for USAID in Cambodia and worked in the Beijing Bureau of the Chicago Tribune. Currently, Ari is pursuing a dual MBA/MPP and focusing on corporate strategy with an interest in new media and doing business in emerging markets.

 
     
   

Shara Senior
Co - Vice President, Entrepreneurship - ssenior@umich.edu

Shara is interested in social entrepreneurship, and has been able to do some work on this while at Ross on her MAP project for CARE Central America. Her team was tasked with writing a business plan for a holding company that does business in micro-finance and social venture capital. Before coming to Ross, Shara had her first business in real estate. She started purchasing residential real estate in Southern California with $5000. After purchasing and managing her local properties, she looked out of state for future investments. In researching success criteria for out of state properties she found that having good property management was a crucial factor. In an effort to understand property management better, she formed Senior Property Management, LLC and started managing clients properties in South Central Los Angeles and Inglewood, CA.

 
     
    Shikhin Agarwal
Vice President, Finance - shikhin@umich.edu

Prior to Ross, Shikhin has started his own IT products and services company at Hyderabad, India. Having managed his startup for 2 years, he sold it to his investors and moved on to join another Silicon Valley based startup working with business development and client management teams. Last he worked as product manager for the internet-based products of Yodlee. At Ross, Shikhin's primary interest lies in the corporate strategy and entrepreneurship. In free time he likes to play squash, racketball and golf.

 
     
   

Jason Townsend
Evening MBA Relations Chair - jdtowns@umich.edu

Jason earned a Computer Engineering degree from The University of Michigan in 2001 and was recruited into an executive grooming program at Intel upon graduation. Advancing up the corporate ladder, Jason is currently a Business Development Manager and has responsibility for a territory that spans three states. In addition to effectively working across divisions in a highly competitive environment at Intel, Jason co-founded a successful real estate company in his spare time. In his role as President, he was responsible for overall strategic development and operational performance. Jason will pursue his entrepreneurial interests at Ross, focusing on the development of innovative technologies while maintaining his full time position with Intel.

 
     
   

Ian Dailey
Director of Membership - idailey@umich.edu

A lifelong San Franciscan, Ian left his home in the late 90’s to pursue an undergraduate business degree from the University of Southern California. Following college, Ian began his four-year media career at Duncan/Channon, a mid-size advertising agency in Marin County. There, Ian honed his skills in business-to-consumer marketing on brands such as Clos du Bois and Birkenstock, and managed the global media account for Hard Rock Cafe. At Ross, Ian is concentrating in Entrepreneurship and General Management and is excited to transition into high-tech.

 
     
   

Harsh Nahar
Treasurer - hvnahar@umich.edu

At Ross School of Business, Harsh is focusing on Finance and Corporate Strategy. His Summer Internship was at Bear Stearns - Investment Banking Division. Prior to business school he was a manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Houston office for the Investment Management practice. He started an investment partnership and raised capital in min 5 digits. He has also worked in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles and Bombay, India.

 
     
   

Kunal Mahajan

Kunal is a BBA at the University of Michigan. He is interested in entrepreneurship as well as Venture Capital. Kunal is from Michigan and is looking forward to getting involved in the startup community in and around Michigan.
